There are hardly any of us who hasn’t loved the Maybelline Fit Me Range. Maybelline foundation, powder and concealer have been receiving a lot of good reviews since years. As good as Maybelline is at listening to its customers, they have heard the voice of all of us with combination to oily skin and have developed a formula to save us from the worries of a melted foundation face.
Maybelline has come up with Fit Me Matte and Poreless range to save the day. There is also a Luminous Foundation but I will write review about that some other day.
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Packaging:
Initially Fit Me Matte Foundation came in a glass bottle with a pump, it still does in some countries however it has recently come in plastic packaging similar to that of their BB cream.
The glass bottle came in with a pump, which was a relief because the Original Fit Me lacked one. Leading to wastage of product.
There have been mixed reviews for the plastic packaging. Some people find it better for travelling purposes other people miss the pump.
Maybelline Fit Me Matte And Poreless Foundation Review
Maybelline Fit Me foundation no doubt is liquidy and runny in consistency. I personally like to apply it using a Real Techniques foundation brush. This not only helps it blend seamlessly but also help you give an airbrushed finish. The foundation however needs to be applied very quickly as it sets REALLY quickly, so be very careful not to do it all over your face and leave some areas of the face. Try applying it bits by bits so that the application doesn’t become a mess.
Maybelline Fit Me foundation comes in 12 shades, which helps everyone to find their perfect shade.
During the first application you do get a medium coverage but it can be built to full coverage. The formula is pretty thick compared to the original range. It covers blemishes very well but your face doesn’t look cakey at all. The pores do vanish a little but I won’t say that your pores simply go away after you apply this Maybelline Fit Me foundation.
If you are aware of Revlon Colorstay then I would say that Maybelline Fit Me Matte is not THAT matte but not dewy at all. It gives a finish that looks very natural yet matte. You won’t be getting any flashbacks during photography, so that’s good news for many of you out there.
Now comes the tricky part, you do expect a matte foundation to be “long-lasting” as well. I wouldn’t say Maybelline Fit Me Foundation lasts on my skin for 10 or 12 hours. But, it lasted without getting oily in the t-zone for good 5 hours. If you are worried about it not being super long lasting you should powder it a bit and you’re good to go. I would definitely recommend using the powder if you feel the need. Pair it with the concealer from the range and you have the most perfect drugstore combination for your day.
Have you tried this Maybelline Fit Me Matte Foundation and how much you are loving it ? Let me know your thoughts!
