Too Faced And Kat Von D Collaboration, Latest update from Makeup World!
Hey my lovelies! I am super sorry for not being around lately, that was because I had my exam season going on and I had back-to-back exams for an entire week, but now I am back and I have some good news for you all from the world of makeup!
If you are a fan of Too Faced Cosmetics and Kat Von D, then sit back and read this because the news is from both of them, and when I say, “both of them”, does that give a hint?
YES. IT’S A COLLABORATION BETWEEN BOTH THESE BRANDS AND YOU ARE GOING TO GET A PERFECT BLEND OF TOO FACED’S PINKISH-NESS AND KAT VON D’S DARK AND DEEP SIDE!
Here is what I know so far, and thank the Lord that Instagram exists.
This is how the palette looks, and it comes with a full size Kat Von D Tattoo Liner and the very famous Too Faced Mascara.
You can see here how one side is pink and rose-golden-the traditional Too Faced packaging. The right side however is a depiction of Kat Von D, the black and white, which does have roses but even they are grey. Talk about a more amazing blend of two makeup artists.
The Kat Von D Tattoo liner needs no praises from my side, the whole world is aware of it’s a-H-mazing quality and longevity. The Mascara falls in the same category and is loved by a ton of your favorite makeup Gurus.
Let’s see what both of these world famous people have to say to you!
Kat Von D says:
“There are few people in this world that I have been lucky enough to meet, who make me feel like I belong.
Jerrod is one of them, he is my friend and an excellent example of what a real hero is made up of.
To me this collaboration represents something bigger than lipstick and eyeshadow. This is a love letter that we have created together – dedicated to all of you – in hope that it inspires love, kindness and compassion.
Because together we are truly better.
Kat Von D.
P.S I Love You Jerrod.”
Just like Kat Von D, Jerrod too has something to say on this collab.
“The very First time I met Kat Von D I knew I had made a friend for life. She was a classic beauty with a retro-modern touch of femininity made only that much more spectacular by her artful tattoos. She was incredibly approachable and, sweet, funny, and smart with an unexpected innocence, that made me want to wrap my arms around her and protect her from the world. Kat is one of the most authentically kind, caring, sweet, loving artistic, passionate and loyal people, I have ever known; I feel incredibly blessed to have Kat in my life and in my corner.
We aren’t competitors but cheerleaders for each other, celebrating the others successes and triumphs. While offering each other a safe place to land when the things get tough. In our industry of beauty it’s incredibly rare, to have a fellow founder befriend you, especially one your company is compared to. This makes our friendship much more unique and precious. I am finally to be able to share our love for each other and what we do with the world.
In a video posted on her Instagram, Kat wrote the caption:
““How I feel about the upcoming #TOOFACEDxKATVOND collab!!!”
