Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Concealer Review

Hello everyone! Winter is here to hit our skins and I hope you all are well prepared for that! Winter basically means a good cup of coffee, some good books to read and sometimes a good movie to watch in bed! This is somewhat my anticipation for winters at least, and along with this I keep on looking for new products to try. I have recently come across a very good concealer and I was intimidated by its packaging to an extent that I had to try it. This is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer. Although I love the Maybelline Fit Me concealer,  But today’s article is going to be about Maybelline Instant Age Rewind so let’s not steal its spotlight and get started.

Shade Range:

You get to pick your concealer from the following four options:

  • Fair Light 110
  • Light 120
  • Medium 130
  • Brightener
  • Dark 160
  • Neutralizer

The neutralizer is there for concealing super dark circles, and the brightener can be applied to illuminate certain area under your eyes, both of these however need to be used alongwith the concealer for a better result.

THIS is the part that made me buy the product, so I’ll love to explain this to you guys.

Its packaging includes a puff, that is clean and white when first bought, and as you rotate the bottom, the concealer starts to come in the puff through a tube and WITHOUT even using your hands or fingers, you can dab the concealer under your eyes and you are good to go.

The puff is covered by a cap which is really good in terms of hygiene.

You can buy it for $11 and in the tube you get 6.0ml of product.

My Review of Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Concealer:

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer is good in terms of packaging but you do need to apply the concealer with your fingers to reach critical areas under your eyes and for a smoother look in general.

The shade range however failed to impress me as I am very pale in color, and I could not really find a good match. Alternatively I found some shade that I can use to highlight certain points of my face. This makes this product a very good highlighter for me.

Let’s talk a little about the part where the company claims that the concealer would help erase dark circles and treat them for me. So far, I haven’t observed any such thing in my three week tenure of usage so if you are going to buy it as a treatment; it’s a no from my side.

Another thing I noticed is that the puff gets dirty very soon and there is product left on it after every application, sadly the puff can’t be washed or removed/replaced. I personally don’t find that as a good thing because I am habitual of keeping my stuff clean and washed.

Overall for the lighter consistency, the formula wears for a good 5-6 hours, but it won’t “conceal” your dark circles or puffiness as much as you would expect it to.

For the price I wouldn’t be repurchasing the product I don’t feel like I am not going to use my already bought tube at all. I would recommend it to those of you who are in their youth and just need something for everyday use to brighten up your under eye area.
