Let’s First Talk about the STAR of the collection, the Sweet Peach Palette.
Remember your junior school pencil box? The one that was made up of tin like material? That’s exactly what the packaging of the Sweet Peach Palette is like.
Although Too Faced has been obsessed with “chocolate” since a long long time, I personally think that there is no harm in that but this time they have decided to shift their focus to PEACHES. YES! Not only is the new palette named SWEET PEACH, it ACTUALLY smells like Peaches!
When compared to the past palettes by Too Faced, here you are getting TWO more eyeshades in the same $49 price. You’ll get 18 shades in total and all of them are the same size, no bigger matte and shimmer shades in here!
Here are the names of these eyeshades:
- Summer Yum
- Talk Derby to Me
- Candied Peach
- Peach Pit
- Peaches ‘n Cream
- I’m Sure
- White Peach
- Just Peachy
- Bless Her Heart
Overall, I would say that if you are a pro at using eyeshades and combining them to get several looks, the palette is good, but not if you want something that would speak to you, and tell you what shades to use next! There also aren’t many “peachy” shades in here, as some of you might expect. You get purples and greens and some light toned pinks!
The formula is very blendable and soft, however its great if you use a primer with these.
Some of the duds in the palette include Just Peachy and Candied Peach.
You won’t get consistent color payoff in all the shades so get set for some hits as well as misses!
- Too Faced Papa Don’t Peach Blush, $30
If you have been using Too Faced since a long time, you might be aware that this blush isn’t new. It was a part of the company around 6 years ago and now it is back!
At first you feel like the blush might not work for a lot of skin tones, but the rose-gold shade makes you want to try it over and over again. It is buildable, so its upto you if you just want a flush of color or go heavy with the shimmery blush.
- Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette, $42
A lot of people were waiting for this highlighting palette, it’s icy highlighter has attracted a lot attention from Youtubers. The bronzy shade you ae getting here is a little tricky but you can always apply your matte bronzer first and then go ahead with the shimmery bronzer on top!
I wish the palette came in more shades though!
- LIP OILS ($19)
The 8 lip oils included in the collection have been named already by me in the beginning and the reviews on these are positive, though not a lot of people would like the fact that they are very light shades, but what else could they be? Afterall it’s a SWEET PEACH collection so everything is going to be light pink or orangey in nature!
That’s all from the Too Faced Sweet Peach Collection guys, let me know what you think about it and whether you would want to buy it or not! Until next time 🙂
