Hello my lovelies!

Today we are going to talk about one of the “most wanted” foundations we have seen in the past year from Too Faced. This is the Too Faced Born this Way Foundation. I’ll be taking you through the coverage it provides, the shade range and the kind of finish that it provides.

born this way foundation review

Product Description By Too Faced:

“Born This Way is an oil-free foundation that masterfully diffuses the line between makeup and skin. For coverage so undetectable, you can’t see the makeup and you can’t see imperfections—all that’s left is naturally radiant skin that looks like you were Born This Way.”

Lets now talk a little about what the foundation is made up of.

According to Too Faced, this foundation has Coconut Water, Alpine Rose, and Hyaluronic Acid. These have the ability to give you a skin with a brighter appearance and which is elastic in nature. All these ingredients combined help a smooth and younger looking face for you.

Texture and Coverage

The foundation has a light texture and doesn’t end up being cakey AT ALL, yet providing the coverage you would expect from a Full Coverage Foundation.

THIS is what makes Too Faced Born This Way foundation Unique. Usually when you try and build a foundation, it ends up making you look super cakey and you can feel layers and layers of product on your face, however this is not the case here.

Shade Range

  • Snow
  • Pearl
  • Porcelain
  • Ivory
  • Vanilla
  • Nude
  • Warm Nude
  • Light Beige
  • Natural Beige
  • Warm Beige
  • Sand
  • Golden
  • Honey
  • Caramel

The shades are sufficient enough to cover all kinds of skin tones and once you go to buy this foundation, I am sure that you can find something closer to your skin tone.

The following shades have been recently added to the collection.

Snow, pearl, Mocha, Maple, Chestnut, and Mahogany.

I would recommend that you use a setting powder with it if you want the foundation to last.

However people with dry skin won’t need a setting powder with this. It lasts 8+ hours for me and I have dry skin, which is a LONG, long time.

It comes in a beautiful glass bottle with a pump. The cap is black and goes well with the golden writing on the bottle itself.

Too faced produces cruelty free products and all its products don’t have any Parabens or Sulphates or Phthalates.

I prefer applying with my fingers, putting two drops in the palm of my hand and applying from the center of my face, blending outwards. You can go ahead and apply it using a BeautyBlender or a foundation brush.

$39 is the price, but trust me the foundation is worth it.

You can buy it at Sephora, Ulta and any Too Faced Counters.

The foundation photographs beautifully, and it has no SPF which means no flashback.
